i am not defined by my status, possessions, etc...

I've mentioned last time that i was so disappointed because i wasn't able to go to Boracay island last weekend. but then my stay here in miagao was worth it. we had a very good speaker last saturday during our CWTS(Civic Welfare Training Service). it was the first that everybody in the auditorium paid attention to the speaker. He is Edwin Lopez, a marketing executive [?] in EWTN Int'l, and a social enterpreneur. He worked for Prudentialife America before and received a monthly salary of Php500,000. He told us that not all things can be bought by money, love responsibility, faithfulness etcetera.. and that some things cannot be taught.

My greatest opponent is "me", so "me" should get out of the way. I also realized that until now, I have not accepted myself and because of that I cannot accept the weaknesses, imperfections, etc of others. I must start with myself, and i think i've got to start now.

Education without character is incomplete (Mahatma Gandhi). Its not ONLY education, there are other things/factors as well. i noticed some educated people that change jobs now and then. nowi know why.

I am not defined by my feelings, i should not attach myself to my feelings. When somebody criticizes my work or me, i easily get offended. It is right to put your feelings on your work but not attach your feelings to yourself. I should not be mad because they are not critcizing me but only my work.

Responsibilty. We have many responsibilities in life. this is one thing that cannot be bought or taught by other people. one should discover this for themselves.

there are still a lot of things that i've learned from BUT i forgot to bring my notes. i'll just publish it on my blog next time.
